The church was originally founded in 1889 as the Free Gospel Missionary Society. It eventually became the Scranton Covenant Church and today is called Cross Road Community Church.
We are a community of people who are seeking to share our lives together for the glory of Jesus Christ. By God's grace, we commit to be united as God's people who worship Jesus Christ as Savior and King, to live by faith, to be known by love, and to speak as a voice to our world of the hope and new life we have found in Christ.
